Author Guidelines

The American Journal of Advanced Technology and Engineering Solutions is dedicated to maintaining high academic standards. To ensure a smooth submission process and improve the chances of acceptance, authors must adhere to the following guidelines when preparing their manuscripts.

1. Manuscript Formatting Requirements

To maintain consistency, all submissions must:
Use the official manuscript template provided by the journal.
✔ Be written in clear and concise English with proper grammar and structure.
✔ Follow the standard structure, including:

  • Title Page: Article title, author names, affiliations, and contact details.
  • Abstract (200–250 words): Concisely summarize the research, key findings, and conclusions.
  • Keywords (4-6 words): Relevant keywords to enhance discoverability.
  • Introduction: Background, problem statement, objectives, and significance of the study.
  • Methodology: Detailed explanation of experimental setup, data collection, and analysis techniques.
  • Results: Clearly presented findings with supporting figures, tables, and statistical analyses.
  • Discussion: Interpretation of results, comparison with existing studies, and implications.
  • Conclusion: Summary of findings, limitations, and suggestions for future research.
  • Acknowledgments (if applicable): Recognition of contributors and funding sources.
  • References: Formatted according to the journal’s citation style.

2. Figures, Tables, and Equations

✔ All figures and tables must be numbered sequentially and referenced in the text.
✔ Use high-resolution images (minimum 300 DPI) for clear reproduction.
✔ Tables should be editable text (not images) and formatted properly.
✔ Equations must be numbered and created using word where applicable.

3. Citation and Referencing Style

✔ All references must be formatted in the journal's preferred citation style (e.g., APA, IEEE, or Harvard).
✔ In-text citations must be properly referenced with author name and year or numerical format based on the journal’s requirement.
✔ Provide DOIs or URLs for all online sources where available.

4. Plagiarism and Ethical Considerations

✔ Manuscripts must be original and not published elsewhere.
✔ The similarity index should not exceed 15%, as checked using plagiarism detection software.
✔ Proper citation is required for any reused data, images, or previous works.
Conflicts of interest and funding sources must be disclosed.

5. Submission Process

✔ Authors must submit their manuscripts via the journal’s online submission portal.
✔ Only one submission per manuscript is allowed at a time—duplicate submissions will be rejected.
✔ Manuscripts must be formatted as per the guidelines before submission to avoid desk rejection.

6. Peer Review Process

✔ All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process.
✔ Authors may be asked to make minor or major revisions based on reviewer feedback.
✔ The editorial team makes the final decision on acceptance based on scientific merit and originality.

7. Open Access and Publication Fees

✔ Authors can choose between open access (with an Article Processing Charge) or subscription-based publishing.
✔ Fee waivers or institutional funding options may be available for eligible authors.

8. Post-Acceptance Guidelines

  • Once accepted, authors must review proofs and submit corrections before final publication.
  • Published articles receive a DOI and indexing in major databases.
  • Authors are encouraged to promote their work through social media, research networks, and institutional repositories.
